I don’t like cats. I’m a dog person.
But for some odd reason-
There were so many of them!
Their cages were filthy.
They reeked of swine.
We HAVE to clean them up!
Before people come by!
One by one-
Put two here;
Bleach the mess-
There you go Kit-
Back in there.
So so Many!
Onto the next!
Looking back to the first-
There again,
Is that mess.
Put them together!
Clean it again!
So so many!
Did we even begin?
Who’s bathing them!?
I’ll do the cages-
What just happened?!
“One has escaped us!”
I see you little one-
Don’t go outside;
But of course you would.
“The world will kill you!”
I cried.
But I caught you; Little yellow-
With the brown stripes.
“Pikachu,” I called you;
No difference in size.
Tiny troubled critter-
I got you new litter!
But you wanted me to see-
The field, that’s outside.
So SO MANY!
Kittens would hide-
Tall grass and short;
Trees and their sides.
It got fun, that quick.
The dogs, I so loved-
Were chasing the kittens-
“Run Pika! Run!”
And then in the horses!
Cats would even hide!
Faces in their mane-
Couldn’t get that one-
I tried.

You learn how to be perfect. Or at least, I think I did?
Though not perfect at all-
I grew more; to love my skin.
Beyond makeup, perfume, 💄
And hairdo-
I revered the woman within.
Always questioning my morale-
“I’m Sorry, What were you saying again?”💋

It’s what pulls us off the edge-⛰
Undesired ankle weights.
While hovering the shark tank-
Swimming pool of debts.
Stranded by a heartstring,
Debating to let go,
Of anything you’re carrying-
Or the person that you owe.
Would you shake them off?
Expedite their doom?
Go on and save yourself?
Or try and save them too?
Live with that you tried- 🌹
Or live with that you do. ⛰
Either way-
A billion debts to pay;
Which one do you choose?
